    Senior Finance Manager, IM Supply Chain - Latina Plant

    Mandatory location: Latina, Italy

    Contract: full time, permanent

    THE OPPORTUNITY

    For the Italian production plant of Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager/Plant Controller.

    Latina is the Synthetics Manufacturing Launch & Growth Drug Product site within Innovative Medicine Supply Chain.

    How YOU can help:

    The primary responsibility is to provide financial guidance and counsel to the site leadership team as it delivers on its financial commitments. These commitments are both long term and short term in nature. This individual will support the Leadership team in prioritizing key initiatives to achieve these goals. They will also assess and develop strategies to mitigate associated risks.

    The role reports into the Finance Director IMSC Synthetics Manufacturing Platform but requires strong collaboration with the Site General Manager and Site Leadership team.

    The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

    • You will provide financial analysis, inclusive of calculating, analyzing and presenting the manufacturing P&L and understanding and applying cost accounting concepts for the site.

    • You will manage high levels of capital spend, human resources, and capital investment in a highly sophisticated environment.

    • You will build and maintain a strong trusting relationship and partnership with site leadership to strengthen the overall business site results.

    • You will be forecasting and evaluating the financial performance of the manufacturing site including annual business plan, standard cost setting and forecast updates.

    • You will access risks and opportunities and make recommendations to improve performance in a compliant manner.

    • The individual will be responsible for developing business cases for strategic projects, capital expenditures, and new product introduction analysis in close cooperation with project managers and other Finance functions.

    • The individual will constructively challenge business partners to improve financial outcomes in the short and long term.

    • The position manages a team of 3 finance professionals, and is responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, developing and coaching the individuals on the team in an open, and inclusive environment.

    • Other activities include identifying and implementing finance process improvements consistent with Signifi initiatives and leading sector- level process improvements on an ad hoc basis.

    • The individual will be a Key member of the Site Leadership team and a member of the IMSC Synthetics Manufacturing Finance team.

    IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU

    We would love to hear from YOU, if you have/are:

    • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with CPA, CIMA or other financial certification, with significant post qualification financial experience.
    • Fluency in English required, Italian and other European languages desirable
    • Experience in business partnering, in commercial and/or Supply chain
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to confidently present complex information to all levels of the organization required
    • Strong collaboration, people management & change management skills required
    • Strong influencer, independent thinking, and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success required
    • Passion for people development and talent management required
    • Microsoft Office, SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge required
    • Experience with TM1, CFIN, Anaplan and Analytics/Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc.) preferred.
