The role's scope of responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing critical category strategies in joint collaboration & alignment with global category leaders to support business objectives. Identifying, developing, and directing the implementation of procurement goals and category strategies based upon deep subject matter expertise, while understanding industry and marketplace dynamics.
Identifying business requirements and partnering with key business partners, cluster engagement leaders, and category experts to deliver value, improvements, innovations, and savings.
Developing deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include performance management, co-innovation, and improvement of end-to-end value.
Determine the MedTech business procurement priorities and partnering with cluster engagement leaders to devise strategies and projects that advance those priorities.
Collaborate with business leaders to ensure Procurement processes (such as RFx) for regional projects meet the business needs and are adopted within the business.
Conduct supplier negotiations for owned categories supporting the MedTech business and provide recommendations to MedTech business leaders.
Establish and deliver against performance targets for the MedTech Procurement organization in the role's areas of responsibility and ensure target achievement.
