    Position summary

    and digital learning materials. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including training strategists, instructional designers, developers, and project stakeholders, you'll ensure products are intuitive, visually compelling, and deliver an engaging learning experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Illustration & Visual Design: Create high-quality illustrations, graphics, and visual assets for digital and print products, following brand guidelines and quality standards. Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, Procreate, and more.

    • Concept Development & Storytelling: Use Design Thinking to develop visual concepts that align with project goals and audience needs. Translate ideas into visual narratives that enhance user experience.

    • Design Systems & Brand Consistency: Contribute to visual design systems to ensure brand consistency across all assets. Support the creation of style guides and maintain asset libraries for design uniformity.

    • Mobile & Responsive Design Optimization: Optimize illustrations and designs for various screen sizes and platforms. Understand how visual assets adapt to responsive frameworks to maintain a consistent look and feel across devices.

    • Mentorship & Team Leadership: Mentor, lead, and coach junior designers (including contractors), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Manage workloads, set priorities, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

    • Agile Project Management: Apply Scrum and Agile methodologies to drive collaborative and iterative development. Monitor milestones and align project outputs with KPIs and OKRs.

    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including learning strategists, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment with project requirements and meet client expectations.

    • Innovation & Technology Integration: Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, including Generative AI. Introduce new visual approaches and creative storytelling methods to improve content and workflows.

    • Quality Assurance & Design Standards: Ensure all visual designs meet quality standards and accessibility guidelines, paying close attention to typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Illustration, Visual Arts & Communications, or a related field.

    Required

    • Minimum of three (3) years of professional design experience with advanced proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Sketch, and other design software.

    • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital illustration, showcasing a variety of styles, techniques, and design solutions.

    • Deep understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and branding, with the ability to transform storyboards into polished deliverables.

    • Experience working within established design systems and brand guidelines.

    • Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling visual narratives.

    • Proven project management skills with experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies and effective stakeholder engagement.

    • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

    • Excellent visual, written, and oral communication skills, with strong proficiency in English.

    • Strong collaboration skills, committed to a positive work culture.

    • Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

    Preferred

    • Experience in motion design and animation using tools like After Effects.

    • Background in creating visuals for digital learning content and understanding instructional design principles.

    • Familiarity with design thinking and web design principles with experience adapting designs for different digital platforms.

    • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, ADA) and how they apply to visual content.

    • Proficiency in creating animations and dynamic visual content.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, Power Apps, Power Automate, CoPilot).

    • Passion for leveraging digital technologies and automation to enhance productivity and learning.

    Other:

    Ability to travel up to 5% in alignment with business needs and company policies.
