s the Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide System Administration for Adaptive and Adaptive Planning modeling support to ensure successful execution of all planning and operational processes, as well as play a large part in the design and implementation of new Adaptive Planning models and functionalities. This role will work collaboratively across finance in support of various workstreams.
The ideal candidate understands Adaptive functionality, including best practices uses of dimensions, attributes, allocations and formulas. Ideal they are also proficient in finance concepts, while having a high degree of technical aptitude of systems modeling in order to design and develop sustainable reporting dashboards that will streamline and raise efficiencies across various finance teams. Individuals would need to be able to self-validate work to ensure accuracy, self-prioritize work and escalate priority conflicts.
Job Responsibilities:
Enhance existing Adaptive models with new functionalities and methodologies
Provide system administration support for maintenance and creation of Adaptive instances
Provide tactical support for Enterprise consolidation of the budgeting process in Adaptive
Design and develop high quality reporting tools and dashboards in Adaptive
Support existing Adaptive models and build new models as needed
Prioritize short-term needs with long-term projects while maintaining accuracy and hitting deadlines
Provide essential model support/management - resolving system and application issues, managing user securities and other admin tasks, monitor/validate data flows, and maintain support documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Information Science or related field
Experience in supporting any enterprise scale financial platforms with Adaptive Planning specific experience required
Ability to understand Adaptive functionality including dimensions and attributes
Experience developing planning models and consolidation of budgets
Familiarity with best in class budgeting processes and techniques
Experience working with large data sets and familiarity with best practices for data cleanliness/integrity
Basic understandings of accounting and finance principles; experience working in or with FP&A are valued
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
Detail oriented with high attention to quality and accuracy
