    Position summary

    he Sr. IT Security and Technical Operations Project Manager will lead multiple medium sized projects in the IT Security and/or technical operations space. The Senior Project Manager will ensure project results contribute positive business value and meets agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality business results. This role engages with executives, business collaborators, and partners throughout all levels of the company to manage assigned projects. Additionally, the Senior PM is looked upon as a mentor, leader, innovator, and thought partner within the IT PMO and encourages the team with a positive and collaborative style and fresh new insights for PMO maturity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Direct the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and close of an entire IT project of any size and complexity

    • Ability to contribute and champion usage of structured project management methodology (to include Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Iterative, etc.)

    • Lead project team members in achieving desired outcomes of deliverables

    • Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical path

    • Analyze, manage, and report project performance financial reporting, prioritization, task delegation and partner management

    • Analyze multiple types and sources of information to generate insight on project performance Ability to provide financial forecast and on-going reconciliation of resources and other project related expenditures

    • Develop and drives an overall project schedule, including tasks, duration, dependencies, and resource assignments

    • Control and tracks changes to scope, time, cost, quality, issues, and risk

    • Elevate risks and issues to leadership level, as needed and assesses possible outcomes to determine solution in a timely manner

    • Manage multiple medium sized projects at a time, or single large sized projects

    • Request and on boards needed resources for the project

    • Although an individual contributor role, expected to serve as a leader with vision and innovative partner to PMO in our maturity journey

    • Mentor to more junior level project managers

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent judgment and decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Demonstrated IT Security and/or Technology IT program/project management knowledge and experience

    • Able to prioritize work and manage 2-3 medium sized projects at one time, focusing on meeting deadlines based on logical work breakdown structures aligned to project schedules

    • Strong ability to drive clarity and path forward from ambiguity. Connect the dots for the team

    • Expert in relationship building, influencing, and communication skills.

    • Able to effectively communicate and explain technically sophisticated concepts to non- technical project team members and vice versa.

    • Able to remain calm in high stress situations

    • PMP certification required
