e are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Workday Financials Administrator to join our Information Technology team. The Workday Financials Administrator should have a solid background in supporting all FINS modules for our Finance and Accounting business. They will have a main responsibility for handling and solving FINS configurations and policies within the Workday platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday's FINS modules, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various partners to ensure the optimization and maintenance of the Workday system is successful. This role should also have experience crafting and refining Workday reports including advanced, matrix, composite reports, building dashboards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various collaborators. This Administrator should have a good understanding of Workday security with the ability to maintain and support security configuration.
Responsibilities:
This position will play a key role in optimizing the Workday system focusing on the FINS modules
Fix and resolve issues providing timely and effective support to Finance and Accounting team and end users.
Serve as a functional and technical point of contact in support of the Finance/Accounting Pillar leads and subject matter experts to craft and implement solutions that enable improved business processes and provide valuable insights to support HR and business strategies
Own the execution of business requirements, workflows, system configuration and changes and optimization
Configure test and deploy Workday business processes and make recommendations for improvements based on requirements and professional business knowledge.
Work with partners to understand requirements and make recommendations on standard methodology approach to meet reporting needs while developing, designing, testing and implementing all reports within the FINS Workday platform
Serves as the main point of contact for Workday report requests, inquiries and issues from Accounting and Finance team members and leaders
Build, evaluate, and maintain Financial data to ensure accuracy and optimization of system efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and administrators on reporting standard methodologies within Workday, assist report writers within the business in making minor changes to update reports
Maintain and update security policies, ensuring they align with standard methodologies and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, , Finance/Accounting Technology, or related field
4 or more years proven ability in supporting Workday FINS with hands on experience in advanced report writing and dashboards
Solid understanding of Workday advanced reporting including matrix, sophisticated and composite reports and experience in release management and testing processes within Workday or similar platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sophisticated data analysis requirements and develop effective solutions
Good attention to detail and the ability to ensure optimal solutions and data accuracy
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
Workday Pro Certification in Reporting or FINS, preferred
