PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for production planning for assigned projects
Responsible for making, issuing, and maintaining Production Orders in SAP to maintain the production schedule
Ensure shop personnel are charging hours to the correct activities and projects.
Ensure that all data, materials, and resources are available to execute the production order per the production schedule
Manage and coordinate material flow to ensure on time delivery.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Procurement to make sure correct materials are delivered when needed.
Report the materials and resources that have been used to fulfil the production order.
Manage the overall change process through manufacturing including cancel / modify / hold / release of new production orders to fulfill and necessary production changes.
Frequently visit the factory floor and communicate with production supervisor.
Populate the manufacturing bill of material
Populate and manage the project skeleton
Review and communicate material availability and shortages
Create material pick lists for warehouse to gather, and then verify for completeness and correctness
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
BS degree a plus, or 3+ related experience.
Working experience with SAP, or a similar ERP system.
Working experience with engineering documents, specifications, and bills of materials.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with experience working with shop personnel
Must be detail oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to work cross functionally within the organization
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
