    Position summary

    complex materials into concise gists and summaries.

    • Be a Research Maverick: Conduct thorough open source research and convert your findings into actionable intelligence reports.

    • Write with Precision: Craft detailed reports in English that drive critical decisions.

    • Engage and Respond: Swiftly address requests for information with your deep linguistic knowledge.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Security Savvy: Current DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph.

    • Educational Excellence: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Associate's with 8+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience is also valued.

    • Language Proficiency: Meet the Interagency Language Roundtable scale's language proficiency requirements within the past year.

    • Master Translator: Translate materials with precise syntax and expression from Chinese-Mandarin to English.

    • Research Whiz: Conduct comprehensive research and compile findings to support specific intelligence needs.

    • Cultural Contextualization: Utilize your knowledge to provide cultural, social, and ethnic context in translations, including gisting or screening.

    • Mentorship and Teamwork: Mentor junior team members and work cooperatively in a diverse team environment.

    • Independence and Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

    • Interpersonal Skills: Engage effortlessly with personnel from diverse cultures. Proficiency in MS Office applications is a must.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
