    In this rapidly evolving world, Leidos is always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. We're seeking experienced software development professionals who can bring creative ideas to rapidly solve challenging problems. The ability to be adaptable, inquisitive, collaborative, and work with a sense of urgency in a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.

    You will work as an integral part of an Agile/ DevSecOps team - a highly productive, collaborative team that thrives on supporting the customer's mission and growth objectives through innovation and AI-enabled agile software development. You will work in close collaboration with team members, customers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for protecting public health.

    We are seeking to fill the following roles, contingent upon contract award.

    DevSecOps Engineers

    Minimum qualifications will vary by level.

    At minimum all candidates MUST:

    Be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

    Be located in the United States for the current three consecutive years

    Have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years related experience

    Total required experience will vary by level required

    Experience with the following is required:

    DevSecOps: Gitlab, Nexus Repository, Argo CD, Maven

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work from established DevSecOps requirements to support complex software systems' rapid development, security, testing, and validation across environments.

    • Create, lead, and implement the processes and tools to deliver an automated, CI/CD pipeline-based DevSecOps system capable of supporting VMs, containers, software applications, and scripts.

    • Champion DevSecOps principles by automating security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST) and compliance checks across the SDLC.

    • Work across the development, security, operations, and Infrastructure teams to ensure that the DevSecOps tools and processes are supporting the holistic system development, integration, and deployments.

    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a security-first automation mindset across development and operations teams.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
