    The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Economic Analyst to work in Honolulu, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission. The primary location for this effort is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Other possible locations are: Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; and Ft. Worth, TX.

    Economic Analyst Responsibilities:

    • Conducting research and analysis of foreign economic structures and their support to military industrial complexes.

    • Analyzing the economic health of foreign states and non-state actors to determine defense spending and financial capacity for sustaining military operations.

    • Identifying potential economic leverage points and vulnerabilities within foreign economies.

    • Performing economic-focused analysis on licit and illicit organizations and networks within the USINDOPACOM Theater to support intelligence requirements related to Great Power Competition.

    • Researching, analyzing, and interpreting economic data to describe macro and microeconomic conditions of countries in the USINDOPACOM Theater.

    • Producing foundational intelligence products, information papers, briefings, graphics, and other deliverables highlighting economic vulnerabilities and related topics.

    • Coordinating extensively with All-source analysts and supporting meetings, engagements, working groups, and collaborative sessions across the Intelligence Community.

    Clearance Required:

    • Current TS/SCI Clearance.

    Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

    • Experience conducting economic analysis in support of defense, intelligence, or national security missions.

    • Proficiency in researching, analyzing, and interpreting economic data and trends.

    • Demonstrated ability to produce intelligence products and briefings in accordance with Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.

    Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
