DC power systems, and Xilinx FPGAs. Position may require occasional travel to and coordination with engineering activities at other Leidos facilities and government facilities, in multiple locations across the United States and possibly the United Kingdom.
Primary Responsibilities
Design electronic circuit cards (schematic/firmware/digital/analog) and systems
Oversee development of prototypes and production PCBs
Perform research and development activities in a lab, in the field, or at sea
Integrate subsystems and provide field support for finished systems
Provide support for establishing requirements and verification/validation activities
Produce and review detailed test plans, procedures, and reports
Communicate with leadership (external and internal) to explain technical matters impacting programs
Advise on technical approach to problems
Mentor junior members of the team
Basic Qualifications
Degree in electrical/computer engineering from an accredited program (Bachelor's degree with 12+ years applicable experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years applicable experience)
Experience with analog and digital circuit design such as opamp circuits, ADC/DAC converters, microprocessors
Willingness to travel
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance
U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
Active Security Clearance
Experience with Altium and with PCB layout
Skilled analog designer
Familiarity with modern Xilinx FPGA families and design tools (Ultrascale+, Vivado, Xilinx IP cores, Verilog/VHDL)
Experience with RF design
Experience working with embedded Linux

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
