Work closely with FAA, its contractors, and regulatory agencies to develop an environmental restoration strategy, prepare contracting packages, monitor contractor performance and schedules, review technical documents, research technical issues, respond to data calls, and prepare briefings, letters, and summaries.
Basic Qualifications to be Considered:
Relevant Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience performing onsite environmental cleanup operations from investigation through site closure, working in the field
5+ years of experience managing environmental projects involving multiple stakeholders
Experience with Emerging Contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Experience developing remediation designs, design work plans, and completion reports, and performing analysis involving data collection and application of statistical methods, technical principles, and theories
Experience collecting dirt, soil and groundwater samples and interpreting sample result data
Experience providing strategic and technical evaluations and recommendations on investigations, remediation, optimization, and site closure activities
40-hour HAZWOPER certification required
Experience with regulations related to environmental cleanup, reporting, remedial execution, and site closure, including CERCLA, RCRA, and state environmental regulations
Ability to present material via written reports and written correspondence, visual or graphics presentation, and in person interactions
Ability to manage and analyze data and files, including data gathering using a variety of methods
Ability to work independently and on teams
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments across multiple stakeholder organizations
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in field conditions
Experience with federal environmental compliance and cleanup programs
Knowledge of GIS software and concepts
Possession of strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired
Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) highly desired
Master's degree in a science or engineering field of study
P.E. or P.G. license

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
