Primary Tasks

• Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times.

• Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies.

• Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary.Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.

• Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects.

• Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages.

• Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.

• Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.

• Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.

• Expertise creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.

• Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.

• Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.

• Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.

Certifications

• Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) - IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher)

• Candidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.

Education

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 10 years of experience.

• Education equivalency of Associate's with 14 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 16 years of related experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance

• Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.

• TS/SCI with Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain and maintain.

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
