Primary Responsibilities.
Establish and implement security procedures and practices in support of Customer goals and current DoD regulations.
Using knowledge of the Information System (IS) and understanding of established Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity requirements validate security policies and procedures outlined in the System Security Plan (SSP), customer policies & regulations, and ensure local policies are followed.
Conduct ongoing security reviews and tests of systems to verify security features and controls are functional and effective. Take corrective action to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
Support the ISSO Team Lead in conducting lessons learned activities to improve the overall productivity and efficiency of the ISSO team.
Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
May respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervise others.
Basic Qualifications.
BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
DoD 8140 IAT II Certification (GFACT or CEH or Cloud+ or CySA+ or PenTest+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC).
Must have an active Top Secret and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
