    Position summary

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual whose attention to detail, organization, and disciplined approach will help ensure that we meet our customer commitments. This important role works with a multi-disciplined team.

    Primary Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:

    • Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures.

    • Assists with audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.

    • Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.

    • Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.

    • Coordinates the flow of limited materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.

    • Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.

    • Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chain.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be able to conduct research, evaluations, studies, and develop recommendations to the FAA customer.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

    • 3+ years of experience working in inventory management or logistics.

    • Experience in indirect procurement and supplier management.

    • BA degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. OR additional years of experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of a degree.

    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks).

    • Travel

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience dealing with multiple lines of business in the FAA.

    • 2+ years of experience working with enterprise support organizations such as facilities, shipping/receiving, export, and procurement.

    • Knowledge of good material management practices.

    • Experience with FAA procurement processes, especially internal supply chain.

    • Experience with FAA shipping/receiving.

    • Experience working with spreadsheet programs.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
