Primary Responsibilities
Manage and lead engineering staff to support all programs.
Ensure the ME Team implements standardization being developed and rolled out by the Functional ME Team.
Identify and execute on continuous improvement projects.
Identify and reduce risks in the production processes.
Plan and maintain production flow through MRP system, including change management and make/buy designation.
Ensure smooth transition of MBOM to Material Planning team.
Support estimating with review of new opportunities.
Collaborate with Design Engineering to maintain awareness of expected engineering changes.
Lead equipment and other capital investment plans to meet capacity and technology requirements.
Oversee budgets for the Manufacturing Engineering team.
Monitor and develop KPI metrics.
Maintain staff at skill level to support all programs.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain and/maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in either mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering from an accredited institution with at least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Previous experience with machining, mechanical, structural, and electronics manufacturing.
Previous manufacturing experience, specifically with leading Manufacturing Engineers.
Experience with MES/ERP/PLM software such as Solumina, Deltek CostPoint, Windchill.
Experience with building and testing launch vehicles, targets, or missile components.
Experience working in a mid to high volume manufacturing environment.
Understanding of lean manufacturing - standard flow, continuous improvement, etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, Basis of Estimate (BOE) documents, and other information to support proposal efforts.
Familiar with GD&T.
Current Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
