    The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) to work in Honolulu, HI. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission. The primary location for this effort is at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. Other possible locations are: Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN; and Ft. Worth, TX.

    Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) Responsibilities:

    • Designing, developing, and applying decision analytics, mathematical/statistical techniques, data mining, and modeling/simulation to address operational and planning challenges for senior leadership.

    • Planning, coordinating, and conducting analysis related to Line of Effort (LOE) modeling and assessment of intelligence mission activities across USINDOPACOM's area of responsibility.

    • Consulting with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and implement qualitative and quantitative metrics, including Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), to assess progress toward campaign objectives.

    • Analyzing intelligence and technical data, document information and processes, and interpreting analytical results to support mission objectives.

    • Developing and documenting advanced analytical methods, such as data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling, to enhance analytic tradecraft.

    • Simulating data flows and events using data visualization and analytics to identify process or resource constraints and recommend improvements.

    • Preparing and presenting statistical results and findings to senior decision-makers, and serving as a primary or alternate analyst supporting operational planning teams and working groups.

    Clearance Required:

    • Current TS/SCI Clearance.

    Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).

    • Experience in data analytics, modeling and simulation, or operations research, preferably supporting defense, intelligence, or national security missions.

    • Demonstrated experience applying advanced analytical methods (e.g., statistical analysis, data mining, mathematical modeling) to solve complex operational or planning problems.

    • Familiarity with intelligence analysis processes, multi-source data integration, and supporting operational planning teams or working groups.

    Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Experience supporting USINDOPACOM.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
