Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect components and assembled parts.

• Read and understand assembly instructions, drawings, and technical data packages.

• Perform internal AS9100 audits.

• Write non-conformance reports and lead investigations to root cause.

• Lead or participate in 5S activities.

• Instruct technicians on proper installation, assembly, and inspection techniques.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.

• Experience leading operations or teams to complete tasks.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and technical documents.

• Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools (micrometers, height gauges, gage blocks, radius gauges, calipers, etc.).

• IPC certification required.

• Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.

• Ability to complete handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer software.

• Ability to work full-time with minimal supervision and manage shifting priorities.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites for inspections.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of the North Alabama area (or willing to relocate), and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC or J-STD certification.

• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.

• Previous auditing experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
