    Position summary

    nt unauthorized access.

    • Collect and record data from security devices and systems as directed (e.g., badge readers, surveillance systems).

    • Assist in responding to security incidents and direct personnel during emergencies in accordance with established procedures.

    • Support facility management teams during power outages, equipment failures, or other critical events.

    • Report and document any suspicious behavior, safety violations, or security breaches.

    Follow and enforce all site-specific and federal security requirements, including those related to classified areas or sensitive operations.

    Basic Qualifications

    • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

    • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, schematics, or diagrams.

    • Experience using hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, soldering irons).

    • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise assembly tasks.

    • Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    • Basic understanding of quality control and inspection practices.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under moderate supervision.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in electromechanical or precision assembly.

    • Proficiency with measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure dimensional accuracy.

    • Experience with soldering, wiring, or working from wiring diagrams and schematics.

    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices or process improvement techniques.

    • Exposure to machine or equipment assembly in a production line environment.

    • Understanding of quality assurance systems and documentation processes.

    • Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems for tracking parts or workflow.

    • Completion of a technical training program or coursework in manufacturing, electronics, or mechanical systems.

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
