    Position summary

    n a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

    What you'll be doing:

    • Lead the development and implementation of security controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance strategies.

    • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data by aligning security policies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    • Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and compliance teams to safeguard enterprise systems against evolving threats.

    • Develop and enforce security policies, risk management frameworks, and best practices based on NIST, RMF, ISO 27001, CIS, and other industry standards.

    • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate threats.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FISMA, FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, and CMMC.

    • Support security accreditation processes, including documentation and technical assessments for system authorization (ATO).

    • Work closely with IT, DevSecOps, and software teams to integrate security into system architectures and development lifecycles.

    • Oversee security incident response, forensic analysis, and remediation efforts.

    • Develop security awareness training and initiatives to promote a culture of cybersecurity.

    • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

    • Mentor junior security engineers and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.

    What does Leidos need from me?

    • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.

    • Master's degree and 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    Favorable if you have:

    • CompTIA Network+

    • CISSP or other IAT III

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
