    Position summary

    nt SAP Security Officer (GSSO) personnel to enforce and manage all aspects of SAP-driven security protocols. Key duties include:

    • Develop and maintain the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program

    • Conduct incident management and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies

    • Coordinate with OPSEC, SSO, AFOSI, and DCO teams to maintain threat awareness and apply countermeasures

    • Ensure effective collaboration between ISSO and GSSO

    • Potential appointment as a GSSO upon successful training completion

    • Conduct and oversee self-inspections and full-scope inspections of subordinate units every two years

    • Lead efforts to create and sustain a National Exploitation Team (NET) SAP Information Protection Program

    • Provide oversight to ASMs, TSCOs, and security assistants to ensure efficient information security administration

    • Ensure proper reporting and investigation of security incidents, including those involving Foreign Government Information (FGI)

    • Maintain SOPs, personnel rosters, program billets, and justifications

    • Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual SAP ASM security checks

    • Operate independently and collaboratively to enhance SAP ASM program elements

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree + 4 years of relevant experience in SAP, personnel security physical security, or cyber security. Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

    • Current TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to pass a polygraph after hiring.

    • Ability to acquire Security+ certification within 6 months of start date

    • Prior SAP experience

    • Willingness to participate in a polygraph interview.

    • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Passport

    • Ability to acquire/maintain SAP, STO, and/or ACCM qualifications

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3 + years of SAP experience

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Experience briefing senior leadership

    • Familiarity with AF DCGS operations

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
