Key Responsibilities:
Support all phases of the Joint Targeting Cycle, including target development, weaponeering, force assignment, execution, and assessment.
Develop and refine Joint Target Lists (JTLs), Restricted Target Lists (RTLs), and No-Strike Lists (NSLs) in coordination with component and interagency partners.
Collaborate with operations, intelligence, legal, and Operations in the Information Environment personnel to ensure targets are valid, verifiable, achievable, and compliant with ROE, LOAC, and commander's guidance.
Participate in Joint Fires Cells (JFCs), Targeting Working Groups (TWGs), and Joint Targeting Coordination Boards (JTCBs).
Use targeting tools and databases such as AFATDS, MIDB, JTT, GCCS, and FAST to manage target nominations and validate target data.
Integrate both lethal and non-lethal effects, including kinetic fires, MISO, MILDEC, cyber, EW, and space-based enablers.
Contribute to Combat Assessment (CA) and feedback loops to ensure targeting effectiveness and support adaptive planning.
Support the development of Annex B (Intelligence), Annex C (Operations), Annex D (Fires), and Annex M (Targeting) for operations plans and orde
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Intelligence, National Security, or a related field
10+ years of experience in military operations or targeting roles, with at least 5 years directly supporting joint targeting processes
Experience integrating intelligence, operations, and legal review into target development and nomination processes
Familiarity with deliberate and dynamic targeting, and associated coordination functions within a Joint Operations Center (JOC) or Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC)
Strong understanding of JP 3-60 (Joint Targeting), JP 3-09 (Joint Fire Support), and JP 5-0 (Joint Planning)
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Operational Art and Science, Defense Studies, or related discipline
Certified in Joint Targeting School (JTS), Weaponeering and Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE), or Joint Fires Observer (JFO) programs
Prior support to GCC J39, J2, or Joint Fires Element (JFE)
Experience with coalition targeting coordination, including NATO standards and interoperability procedures
Familiarity with battle damage assessment (BDA) processes and the integration of kinetic and non-kinetic ISR tools

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
