    In this role you will provide improvement of existing modeling and simulation tools for weapon performance, the development of new models, and the comparison of weapon systems using models. This will include the following:

    • Integrate current and emerging technologies and associated data across the target hardness spectrum into existing modeling tools for predicting WMD defeat weapons performance.

    • Develop and modify models to support improved capabilities across the target hardness spectrum for predicting WMD defeat weapons performance.

    • Perform independent studies comparing capabilities of current and proposed weapons, including novel weapon deployment tactics, utilizing both engineering and high-fidelity calculations.

    Required Security Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI clearance is required however we have the ability to hire at the Secret level for highly qualified candidates who are willing to upgrade to TS/SCI.

    Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Active Secret level security clearance and the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific field and 12+ years of relevant experience

    • Experience with DTRA research and development or developmental testing and evaluation

    Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance

    • Graduate degree in engineering or a scientific field of study

    • Prior experience supporting DTRA RD-TS or RD-CXW

    Pay Range:
    Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
