    Position summary

    • Build and develop a team of communication subject matter experts focused on consistency and clarity and ensuring their ability to share information on task difficulty level, cost, and value to the merchandising organization and company.

    • Continuously assess and develop talent, set goals that support growth, and mentor staff to manage performance and meet organizational goals within the Merchandising Strategy.

    • Paint a compelling picture of the Lowe's mission that inspires others to action. Create a climate where associates feel valued and motivated to do their best to help Lowe's achieve its objectives.

    • Oversee and continuously evaluate the processes, tools and techniques used by the team. Responsible for identifying areas of inefficient or ineffective processes and leading team through developing action plans to address with intent to optimize and simplify. Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the team.

    • Drive alignment and collaboration between merchandising support team and cross functional partners to collect and compile feedback regarding business needs, operational tasks, obstacles, opportunities, and best practices to offer solutions that drive productivity, simplicity and efficiency across the merchandising organization.

    • Oversee the creation and utilization of qualitative and quantitative analytics prior to development and after implementation of new processes and technology to identify ROI, current/future state and cost savings. Share findings with merchandising support team, leadership and key partners to align all stakeholders to analysis, findings, and next steps.

    • Create and drive team culture of trust, credibility, taking action and working collaboratively.

    Capacity & Operations Function:

    • Develop and implement a roadmap of work to include capacity planning, work prioritization, development of Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and drive awareness and alignment of efforts throughout the merchandising organization.

    • Build and develop a team of productivity subject matter experts focused on accuracy and efficiency and ensuring their ability to perform analysis on task difficulty level, cost and value to the merchandising organization and company.

    • Continuously assess and develop talent, set goals that support growth, and mentor staff to manage performance and meet organizational goals within the Merchandising Strategy.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Communications or related field and 5-7 Years experience in merchandising, store operations, communications, business or related field

    • 3-5 Years Experience leading teams directly or indirectly

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience managing a team with multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery and implementation.

    • Experience in evaluating business efficiencies and providing solutions that drive results, productivity, simplicity and efficiency.
