Own aspects of earned-led brand public relations plans aligned with enterprise strategy and ensures communications are developed, approved, and delivered on time and on budget
Proactively identify earned media moments - news hijacking, trendspotting and culturally responsive pitching - to generate high-quality earned coverage
Develop and deepens cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration
Execute the project management of special communication projects and initiatives
Assist the team in measuring success in conjunction with marketing measurement approaches that drive the business and demonstrate value creation
Work with external public relations agencies, and have insight/oversight into areas such as tracking budgets, reporting, and delivery of support to meet business goals
Demonstrate an understanding of corporate retail sector, strong media relations and strategic PR planning
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
2-4 years of Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations experience (agency or in-house)
Proven experience in earned media strategy, pitching and media relations
Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years of Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations experience
Experience in retail marketing and/or operation
