    This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions, working independently with guidance from senior engineers as needed.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the delivery of flexible, maintainable infrastructure systems that meet business needs.
    • Develop and validate system prototypes and configurations, ensuring alignment with company architecture standards.
    • Execute infrastructure testing and validation to identify system errors and ensure solutions meet functional specifications.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, processes, and implementation guidelines.
    • Evaluate and implement new service options while providing ongoing system support and enhancements.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) and 5-7 Years Experience in an IT support environment with technical experience in distributed technologies and systems development
    • 2 Years Infrastructure engineering experience working across multiple domains, platforms, or specialty areas
    • 2 Years Experience leading projects with or without direct reports

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    • Master's Degree Computer Science, CIS, or related field 2 Years Experience in an IT role requiring interaction with senior management (i.e., Director level or higher)
    • 3 Years Experience working in a large matrixed organization
    • 3 Years Experience working with Linux
    • 3 Years Experience with VM Ware
    • 3 Years IT experience with Ansible or similar automation platform
