    What You Will Do

    • Partners with key business partners for example in Marketing, Merchandising, Digital, or Store Ops on most strategic Lowe's initiatives, translating business needs into research plans, so that the customer is at the center of decision making.

    • Socializes learning plans, and research output with Customer Insights Director for alignment and collaboration

    • Ensures research output / data analysis is high-quality and error free, while also delivered in a simple and compelling narrative

    • Designs, executes, and summarizes research, taking insights, analytics, customer frameworks, and models to drive impact and action behind those insights

    • Partners with DACI to develop informative and actionable customer health scorecards and reporting across data sources

    • Integrates insights from multiple projects into more strategic insights to grow the Lowe's business. Shares business recommendations with VPs, SVPs and in some cases, EVPs to create strategic analyses, board recommendations, and CEO/ELT recommendations. Serves as direct business link to answer key questions for business partners

    • Effectively manages the work assignments of analysts and senior analysts on team, coaching them as appropriate, across a global team in the US and India

    • Serve as external face of Lowe's customer knowledge at key conferences and recruiting events.

    • Stays up to date on changing industry and competitive dynamics, and incorporates into insights and narratives.

    • Acts as an advocate for the customer, helping business partners put themselves in the Lowe's customers' shoes

    • Stays current on best in class research & customer data providers, techniques, tools, and innovations

    • Focused on continuous improvement, and looks to democratize data in a cost-effective manner, leveraging tools & technology to reduce manual workload and human error

    • This position manages/supervises people

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, Applied Quantitative or related field

    • 8 years General Marketing experience

    • 7 years working with analytic/research software (e.g. SPSS, Wincross, Sawtooth, SAS, Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.)

    • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

    • 5 years proven experience coaching others and operating as a team to drive business impact

    • Mastery of unique market research areas such as Marketing, In-Store Experience, Retail, etc.

    Preferred Skills/Education

    • Master's Degree In a related field (e.g. Master's in Market Research, Behavioral Psychology, MBA)

    • Experience working in a retail environment
