    Position summary

    tizing the work, balancing capacity and demand, guiding the team in their work, managing the team's performance, and providing professional development opportunities

    • Partners with business peers to quickly and efficiently translate business needs into analytic design and measurement plans that drive timely and relevant decisions for business performance

    • Partners with peers in IT, Data Analytics and Data Science to drive data connectivity recommendations to ensure holistic and seamless reporting of relevant OKRs, regardless of structure or system

    • Develops team-level objectives and helps analysts with the planning of supporting project plans to deliver the key activities of the team

    • Aligns the team's time and effort on projects that are critical to business success; delegates the right tasks and decisions to the people who are in the best position to execute them

    • Manages on-time delivery of analytic solutions to stakeholder groups by overseeing direct and indirect reports that develop, maintain, and enhance analytic solutions; identifies dependencies, aligns priorities, and allocates resources

    • Drive adoption of data and analytics services with stakeholders; quantifies the impact of analytics and reporting solutions

    • Supports continuous process improvement by maintaining a thorough understanding of current business processes, researching competitors, and benchmarking industry best practices, and recommending process improvements that align with best practices and enterprise goals

    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key cross-functional partners; provides coaching and guidance to analysts in support of these key relationships

    • Hires, trains, and develops talent for growth opportunities; monitors team/individual's morale and engagement to maintain highly effective and collaborative environments

    • Provides leadership to the team by attracting and hiring talented individuals, setting goals and communicating clear expectations, providing timely and constructive feedback as well as meaningful developmental opportunities, managing performance, providing resources and support as needed, and sponsoring and leading team members through change and ambiguity

    • Provides input for departmental budget and manages expenses associated with initiatives within scope of responsibility

    • Conducts analysis/review of current analytics processes, models, etc. and makes recommendations for the adoption of new procedures

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Data or Information Sciences, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

    • 8 years of applied analytic experience spanning areas such as Merchandising, Commercial Business Support or other areas of retail operations (e.g., Marketing and Customer, Supply Chain, Pricing, Services, Inventory management)

    • 3 years of experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members

    • Experience with SQL

    • Familiarity with enterprise-grade environments (Teradata, Hadoop)

    • Experience with analytical tools like Python, SQL, SAS, R, Adobe, Alteryx, Knime, Aster, etc.

    • Experience working with Enterprise level databases (e.g., Hadoop, Teradata, GCP, Azure, Oracle, DB2)

    • Experience using enterprise-grade data visualization tools (e.g. MicroStrategy VI, Power BI, Tableau)

    • Functional experience performing predictive analytics at a large scale enterprise

    • Experience performing advanced data modeling, data mining and exploratory data analysis (e.g., linear/logistic regression, ARIMA, Cluster Analysis)

    • Experience translating business requirements into analytics models

    • Experience working cross-functionally

    • Experience presenting /communicating analytics results to business partners

    • Corporate retail experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering or related field

    • Programming experience using tools such as R, Python

    • Data Science experience using tools such as ML, Text mining

    • Project management experience

    • Experience in customer and marketing analytics.

    • 6 years of experience with advanced data modeling techniques (specific to the Digital Analytics Implementation role)

    • 6 years of project management experience (specific to the Digital Analytics Implementation role)

    Pay Range: $109,600.00 - $208,200.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
