    The technology we use is modern open source that enables you the ability to innovate, drive value, and contribute to the full-stack of development. You will be part of an engineering team that is driven by product thinking and focused on delivering key outcomes.

    What You Will Do

    As a Senior Software engineer, you will be designing, developing, refactoring a product based on customer requirements, support, and mentor a small group of software engineers to help them deliver assigned engineering tasks. You get to collaborate with other cross functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions and develop reusable components that can shared across domains. Participate in end-to-end product lifecycle phases and automates, optimize, and simplify team development, test, and postproduction support processes.

    • Building high performant, scalable microservices using modern, cloud native technologies such as Java 8, Kotlin, Spring boot

    • Ability to test your application using state of the art tech like cucumber, mockito, kotest, selenium and many more open source-based tech stack

    • Building micro frontends using modern front-end technologies such as react JS, Node JS

    • Ability to test your application using state of the art tech like MSWjs, cypress, jest and many more open source-based tech stack

    • Building with high-throughput, low-latency scalable technologies like apache Kafka, Reactor and no-sql databases such as Couchbase, Mongo DB

    • Power to author your own deployment pipelines on cloud, on-premise and in-stores seamlessly

    • Building on a platform which is authored on open source platform of Kubernetes and comes with inbuilt metrics tracking capability powered by prometheus, grafana and log mining by ELK stack

    • Ideate, build, and publish reusable libraries to improve productivity across teams

    • Build scalable responsive frontend applications using React JS and/or Node JS

    • Use testing frameworks such as React Hooks, React Testing library, Jest etc

    • Demonstrate expertise in reusable design patterns related to UI frameworks in JavaScript

    • Build scalable microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring boot

    • Demonstrate expertise in design patterns related to microservices application

    • Share expertise around topics- computing, threading models, caching, database indexing

    • Work with security vulnerabilities within code/infra

    • Building, testing and deploying microservices using DevOps, CI/CD and build tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Spinnaker, JFrog etc

    • Communicate and coordinate with project team, partners, and stakeholders

    • Analyze and troubleshoot systems performance and functional defects

    • Work with resiliency of system like chaos engineering, disaster recovery and have good understanding of reliability, availability and performance of system

    • Stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

    • 5 years of experience in software development or a related field

    • 4 years of experience in database technologies

    • 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field

    • 5 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization

    • 5 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software

    • 5 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment

    • 3 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

    • 3 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

    • 5 years of experience working with source code control systems

    • Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools

    • 5 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions
