What We're Looking For:

We are looking for 2 additional Accountants to join our team in Kelowna! Reporting to the Accounting Manager, and as a member of the Finance team, the primary responsibilities will include Retail & Hospitality accounting, assisting in the month-end close process and supporting the Finance team with timely and accurate reporting.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Perform month-end processes and prepare monthly working papers and reconciliations of specific accounts

• Perform daily and month-end reconciliations including reconciliation of revenue, labour and other operational cost

• Support for Finance team on regular budgeting, reporting and analytical tasks

• Analyze general ledger accounts

• Support inventory processes: investigate variances, and improve reporting and/or process flows

• Assist in monthly and year-end management/audit queries

• Maintain procedural documentation and create SOP's for key processes

• Support analysis related to cost, volume, profit

Skills & Experiences Needed:

• Completed Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• 1-3 years of accounting experience

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and the ability to connect the dots and follow data flow in various financial information systems.

• Experience with accounting software

• The typical hiring range for this position is from $60,000 to $65,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity
