Position summary

  • Champion Brand Standards and National Marketing Plan

  • Adopt and adapt US playbook for local markets, performance reporting, and agency/vendor roster management.

  • Partner with localized agencies to deliver best-in-class activation/sampling programs.

  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and representation across all regional marketing efforts, maintaining a cohesive brand image.

  • Responsible for overall regional marketing planning & strategy, execution & coordination, stakeholder & agency management, metrics & reporting, budget management

Key Metrics & Financial Targets:

  • Delivering on Retailer & Sales objectives, incl. Volume, Dollars Sales

  • Delivering on brand goals, including Trial %, sampling metrics

  • Brand Awareness and Brand Health growth

  • Managing to agreed-upon A&P budget

  • Consumer engagement & connections impact

  • Maintaining category and functional expertise

Own:

  • Development and execution of regional marketing strategies and plans, including sampling, events, and media in collaboration with internal and external partners

  • Relationship building with new and existing vendors / associations to drive market penetration

Influence:

  • Regional A&P, Wholesaler funded marketing activities

  • Stakeholder management including Internal (Marketing, Sales, Finance) and external (customers, distributors, agencies) to build best in class programming

Veto:

  • Regional / local events that do not match global brand guidelines or brand growth aspirations

Critical Relationships:

  • Regional / Field Sales, Finance

  • National Brand Team (Sampling/Events, Media, Shopper)

  • Global Brand Team

  • Regional Marketing playbooks, and calendars

  • In Market execution

Skills Needed To Be Successful:

  • 4-6 years working directly with field marketing & sales, ideally in CPG / F&B

  • Proven track record of driving business growth through field marketing, including local sampling/events & media

  • Hands-on, self-driven, self-motivated, execution-oriented, with a can-do collaborative approach.

  • Ambitious, growth mindset, with an ROI-driven approach.

  • Hands-on project management experience running multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Proven ability to think creatively, coupled with strong analytical skills

  • Experience and confidence in communicating with senior leadership- both internal and external (e.g., customers and distributors)

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions' location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.

  • Competitive annual salary from $83,000 to $104,000, based in Chicago, IL
