Position summary

ecute in-store tastings

  • Deliver staff training to target On Premise customers nationally to ensure the brand is top of mind

  • Acts as the "face" of the brand at key events and trade shows

  • Available to deliver consumer seminars where appropriate

Brand Planning

  • Work with the Portfolio Manager to deliver best-in-class trade activation plans that focus on engaging the consumer and inspiring trial

  • Work directly with the Portfolio Manager and Sales Directors to finalize target account lists and listing goals for the focus SKUs from within the Symington Portfolio

  • In partnership with MAWS, execute the trade activation plans

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 5+ years in Port Wine business

  • Portuguese speaking

  • Event management experience an asset

  • Completed Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce or related from a recognized institution

  • Masters in Business/Marketing an asset

  • WSET Level 3 or equivalent

  • Strong relationships with retail and on-premise customers

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Portuguese

  • Strong presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic influencing skills

  • Proven project management skills

  • Strategic long-range planning skills and excellence in prioritization

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to travel extensively across Canada
