This individual will be responsible for building relationships with the main CEEMEA dealers (bulge bracket to regional dealers), working with each dealer as their first port of call at MarketAxess; liaising with them on their integration needs, updating them on performance and driving adoption of MarketAxess protocols. Additionally, this position will include cross-selling data products & growing dealers' liquidity taking on the platform. Success in this role will mean maintaining and deepening relationships with existing EM dealers and cultivating new relationships with new dealers in key strategic regions in CEEMEA. Scope for the new hire to own specific regions/countries and to grow MarketAxess' sell-side footprint.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Own your own accounts - Build relationships with front office traders, sales teams, eCommerce and business management teams
  • Prospect new dealers in countries/regions that aren't on the MarketAxess platform
  • Manage pipeline of onboarding dealers
  • Grow Dealer Liquidity taking - notably Dealer RFQ
  • Drive new protocol adoption
  • Run dealer reports and queries, on a daily/ad hoc basis
  • Put together pitch books and running dealer analysis
  • Assist with month end/quarter end reporting and Dealer reviews
  • Travel and entertain clients (when permitted)
  • Identify sales opportunities to cross-sell TRAX and MarketAxess products
  • Collaborate with internal teams, - customer services, Customer integration, client Sales, Data teams and Global work colleagues
  • Grow revenues and work as part of a dynamic, hard working team

What We're Looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales capacity, fixed income experience required
  • Knowledge of the MarketAxess trading platform, its processes and key stakeholder functions
  • Knowledge of the product suite including AxessAll, CP+, research tools and Open Trading
  • Understanding and interest in fixed income/financial markets
  • Interest in Emerging Markets and with some key contacts in the market that you can leverage including Relationships at the desk level as well as senior management. Heads of business a plus
  • Ability to overcome sales hurdles and promote products
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred
