Position summary

intern within the Post-Trade team, you will grow your skills through on-the-job training and professional development classroom training. You will participate in projects, work on solving problems, provide community service through our charity partners, and enjoying social events. Our summer internship programme offers the opportunity to build new skills and grow your professional network whilst providing an in-depth insight into career possibilities at MarketAxess. This is a full-time paid internship commencing on 2 June and concludes on 1 August.

How You'll Take Us There

The Post-Trade program will be a rotational programme within the MarketAxess Post-Trade team. The rotation will be between the Product and Sales and Relationship Management teams. In each rotation you will learn the main functions of the groups and how the business is supported through each team. At the end of each rotation, you will have acquired a good understanding of the MarketAxess Post-Trade systems. You will understand the criticality of the Post-Trade teams' daily responsibilities. You will experience first-hand the importance of maintaining work accuracy and quality. Following each rotation, you will be given the opportunity to offer suggestions for any improvements you have identified, with a focus on automation opportunities.

What We're Looking for

  • Penultimate year student (graduating in 2026)on track for a minimum of 2:1
  • A passion for solving problems with great attention to detail
  • An ability to form and build strong working relationships
  • Strong presentation skills with confidence in front of clients and colleagues
  • A can-do attitude when faced with challenging situations
  • Excel skills will be beneficial
