How You'll Help Take Us There

• The Post Trade and Operations intern will be immersed in a rotational program within the MarketAxess Operations and Post Trade teams.
• In each rotation you will learn the main functions of the groups and how the business is supported through each team.
• Interns will be able to develop a well-rounded view of the Operational and Post Trade structure within MarketAxess, with a focus on the team's vital role in customer experience.
• At the end of each rotation, you will have acquired a good understanding of the MarketAxess Operations and Post Trade systems. You will understand the criticality of the Operations and Post Trade teams' daily responsibilities. As well as experience first-hand the importance of maintaining work accuracy and quality.
• Following each rotation, you will be given the opportunity to offer suggestions for any improvements you have identified, with a focus on automation opportunities.

What We're Looking for

• Penultimate year student (graduating in 2027) on track for a minimum of 2:1 with right to Work in UK
• Competence in any additional European languages will be welcomed
• MS Office Competency, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Eye for detail coupled with analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
• Highly focused, organized and detail oriented
• Ability to take initiative and deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
• Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and change
• Ability to form and build strong working relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills with confidence in front of clients and colleagues
