How You'll Help Take Us There
- Hands-on development of new functionality and maintenance of the company's request for quote software for institutional ETF and equity derivative traders, focusing on backend and UI optimization and improvements.
- Design, build, and maintain our proprietary, request for quote protocol, systems, and infrastructures.
- Facilitate the development of automation workflows that leverage trade analytics and historical data to identify the best liquidity providers for each request.
- Optimize performance to ensure the platform can take on more capacity with minimal latency during high volatility trading periods.
- Design, create, and test trading strategies and infrastructures with cross-functional teams.
- Improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of the existing tens of thousands of trading strategies in production.
- Understand the future needs of the business and design technical solutions to meet these demands.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of projects, from frontend facing projects to backend infrastructure, each in different programming languages.
- Willingness to support platform operations, system maintenance, infrastructure migrations, regulatory reporting.
What We're Looking for
- 3+ years server-side development experience with C#
- 1+ years client-side development experience with React.js using Typescript. Willing to train.
- Experience in site reliability engineering helpful.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server / Oracle
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing software applications.
- Experience developing software in different programming languages, and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
- Experience with implementing unit tests in Jest, integration tests, Test Driven Development
- Strong development, analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to work independently
- Experience with Atlassian tools: Jira, Bitbucket
- Must possess good teamwork skills and work effectively with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $225,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
