    Position summary

    l teams to assess and identify their data needs, ensuring necessary data is available within the enterprise data warehouse. Collaborate with data stewards and technical teams to verify the existence and accessibility of data, facilitating accurate and timely solutions.

    • Requirements gathering: Lead the elicitation of business requirements for new projects, enhancements, and BI solutions. Ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to stakeholders (sign off received) and development teams.

    • Solution design & validation: Collaborate with the BI technical team to design solutions that meet business requirements. Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process, ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and meet defined criteria. Provide final sign-off to validate that the solution aligns with the business needs and is ready for deployment.

    • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through the use of data and technology. Provide recommendations and support the implementation of improvements.

    • Support self-service BI: Empower the internal teams by contributing to the development of self-service BI tools and platforms. Assist in training users to access and utilize available data tools effectively.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in a business analysis, data analytics, or business intelligence, preferably within a large organization or operations environment

    • 1+ year of experience in Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum or project-oriented environment

    • This hybrid role requires 3 days a week on site in our Springfield or Boston office.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

    • Experience in documenting business requirements and creating technical specifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders

    • Proficiency with BI tools for data querying

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable business insights

    • Knowledge of business processes in an Operations environment

    • Experience working with large datasets and enterprise data warehouses, experience with querying databases and SQL, advanced experience with Excel

    • Understanding of data governance and data management best practices

    • Prior insurance background

    • Prior exposure to Tableau data visualization

    • Prior exposure to data modeling/mapping

    • Take ownership of problems and stay on top of them until resolved

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, data analytics or a related field
