The Team
The CFPMO oversees the execution of initiatives across Corporate Finance, Enterprise Risk, Investment Management, Law, and HR & Employee Experience, as well as defines and owns project management standards across the company. The team is focused on driving and aligning critical programs and projects across our Corporate Functions, creating more visibility into this work, while enabling better prioritization, collaboration, and execution.
We are a newer team of self-starters, who enjoy solving complex business problems with proven track records of excellence in project management and the ability to quickly structure and manage work in a dynamic, complex environment.
The Impact
As a CFPMO Change Management Consultant, you will:
Work with a high degree of autonomy to develop and execute change management (CM) plans for individual CFPMO projects; work closely with program leadership to ensure alignment on change management approach, advising on CM standards based on project complexity, and monitoring overall delivery of CM plan in alignment with project timeline and budget
Lead initial change assessment, along with conducting stakeholder and business impact assessments; tailor change management plans (including training and coaching plans) to accommodate the needs of the various impacted stakeholder groups
Define and measure change success metrics for assigned projects
Collaborate with members across the change team on communication, training, business process and documentation activities
Create and help implement engagement and communications strategies to ensure all employees are fully aware of impending changes
Oversee training needs assessment and development of training plan that addresses each stakeholder groups' needs and ensures all employees have the knowledge of the future state process, tool, item or practice
Monitor the progress of change management needs across the portfolio, track and report issues as part of project status updates
Evaluate business readiness; manage go to green business readiness items and lead business readiness GO | No-Go sessions
Partner with project manager to facilitate lessons learned and retain information in a central location for future use
Advise and coach CFPMO team and Corporate Function business stakeholders or people managers on change management concepts, practices, and procedures
Identify and provide leadership for change advocates within the stakeholder community by involving trusted informal leaders to create employee understanding and influence successful change
Regularly review the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels across Corporate Functions to become a trusted partner
Drives continuous improvement and efficiencies beyond own scope of responsibility
The Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience developing and executing change management plans
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and expertise
Certified in Prosci's change Management program (or equivalent), expertise in change management principles and practices
The Ideal Qualifications
10+ years in a change management role
Active prior involvement in conducting training needs assessments, and overseeing the design and deployment of training to support change adoption
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
Previous experience working within a program management or transformation office
Proficient experience with Project Management tools including but not limited to: Smartsheet, Jira, and MS Office Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience influencing levels above, below, and equal to position toward common goal
