    Position summary

    t a priority for you to reach your goals. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing business by providing support for MassMutual's Variable Product SEC filing team.

    The Impact:

    • Assists attorneys in the preparation of various EDGAR SEC disclosure documents, and EDGAR SEC filings for our variable annuity and life product prospectuses, and related supplements.

    • Distributes draft documents to subject matter experts for review and obtain attorney approval of changes.

    • Works with financial printer to file HTML/XBRL documents with the SEC and manages the distribution instructions for printing, mailing, and updating our company website.

    • Leads the disclosure delivery process, maintains product and underlying fund data files, generates requirements as necessary to add or change product data, performs testing and sign-off of upgrades.

    • Supports and helps manage annual and semi-annual underlying fund shareholder report projects.

    • Monitors underlying funds supplement filings and prepares prospectus supplement filings for impacted variable products, as applicable.

    • Update desktop procedures as needed and perform document retention processes for accurate and complete record-keeping following 38a-1 guidelines.

    The Minimum Qualifications

    • 6+ years' experience in providing support to SEC EDGAR Filings, variable products or mutual funds.

    The Ideal Qualifications

    • Experienced in the production of Prospectus and Supplements print and filings preferred.

    • Experienced working with financial print vendors.

    • Strong time management skills.

    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment/under pressure, multi-task and shift priorities to meet moving and demanding deadlines.

    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

    • Ability to navigate and leverage resources across the enterprise and with our vendors with minimal oversight.

    • Ability to think critically.

    • Ability to work collaboratively and work effectively in a team environment.

    • Excellent problem resolution, including the ability to collaborate with peers and business partners.

    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint environment.

    • Strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail.

    • Experience with content management software preferred.

    • Utilizes content management system to update documents and proofreads for accuracy.

    • Preparation of various EDGAR SEC disclosure documents, and EDGAR SEC filings for our variable annuity and life product prospectuses, and related supplements.
