ise Automation team consists of developers, business analysts and testers focused on delivering software automations through waterfall and agile methodologies.
The Opportunity
To broaden its impact, the team has expanded its focus to deliver business driven AI capabilities, that combine internal/external data, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) to produce value for the broader organization. This includes working with artificial intelligence/machine learning, computer vision, NLP, OCR/IDP and algorithmic based actions.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of financial and resource planning needed to achieve department business objectives
Work with users, partners, and cross functional teams to provide project support, resolve questions, assess needs, and recommend changes; sought as a key resource for resolution of unique or complex business problems
Coordinate and facilitate large program planning sessions and support delivery by coordinating cross-functional technical teams
Design insightful reporting for business process improvement and benefit realization. Facilitate workshops, working with process owners/SMEs and technology teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility, as well as analyze and document business requirements, processes and work instructions
Collaborate with Product Owners, business leadership, architects, developers and vendors to ensure alignment on program strategy and execution
Drive initiatives to ensure they align with the program roadmap and can be adhered to within project schedule and budget
Operate independently on multiple project tasks and complexities
Triage incoming demand and help projects get ready for developers
Select, manage, develop, coach, and motivate staff members
Manage available resources at the single or multi- departmental level
Participate as member of the management team that develops strategies for the larger organization
Coordinate technical integration across tracks of work
Support and drive change management of existing and new processes
Develop and ensure practical implementation of governance for software robotics
Assist with creating and providing high-level estimates for project planning
Translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
Raise risks and issues and serve as a project/program primary point of escalation
Ensure all deliverables (oftentimes complex/interdisciplinary/interlinked) are clearly specified, scoped and agreed to between the project team and our internal team(s)
Remove barriers to enable the project team to complete objectives; drive and influence decisions
Assist the developers in the overall delivery across systems; identify gaps, problems and dependencies between individual teams/groups and systems
Identify improvement opportunities across teams and address as needed
Facilitate program retrospectives and use of program metrics to champion the team(s) through their challenges
The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience in an IT lead delivery, business analyst, technical project management, or similar role
5+ years of experience in a management, leadership, or similar leading role
5+ years of Technical Lead / IT Project/Program Management experience

Capable of leading technical teams to implement broad scope projects

Knowledge or experience in Robotic Process Automation and testing automation frameworks
Knowledge or experience with the usage of strategic enterprise patterns in SDLC
Knowledge or experience with Mainframe / legacy systems delivery/implementation
Background or experience with programming or scripting
Experience, or working knowledge, of Financial Service / Life Insurance concepts and business data
Experience working with Agile development processes and methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
