The Impact:
As a CFPMO Project Portfolio Financials Consultant, you will:
Work closely with the CFPMO team, Corporate Function senior leadership, SP&D, Corporate Finance, and project teams to own the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting process to ensure budgetary requirements are maintained and enforced across the Corporate Function project portfolio.
Own the development, implementation, and monitoring of project budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives.
Oversee the financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in tracking across projects and functional areas.
Collaborate with Strategic Planning & Delivery on reporting and tracking for projects funded by the transformation budget.
Collaborate with department heads and project leads to prepare and refine financial projections.
Continuously evaluate and enhance financial management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Report up to leadership and key stakeholders on financial health and performance.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years' experience with financial modeling, analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or expertise.
Ability to travel between Boston, MA and Springfield, MA as needed
Ideal Qualifications
Proven success in supporting financial activities associated with the delivery of projects within budget.
Experience in wealth management and/or insurance industry sectors, ideally supporting corporate functions.
Experience with process improvement.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Ability to adapt quickly and flexibly in changing environments.
Proficient with project management and financial tracking tools, MS Office Suite, and corporate forecasting systems.
Finance-related Certification (i.e., CFP, CPA, CFA, etc.) a plus.
