Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal business partners to understand their data needs and use this understanding to consult on business priorities to identify high value/benefit requests. Act as a liaison between the business and the delivery team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data needs.
Participate in business review meetings (BRMs) and 1:1s with key stakeholders to foster strong relationships, gain deeper insights into business partner needs, and align business intelligence initiatives with business strategies.
Act as a champion of BI tools/capabilities and identify opportunities to optimize and influence customers adoption of BI solutions.
Provide training and support ongoing education of BI products and services to drive a data driven decision making culture within the broader organization.
Serve as an escalation point of contact for our business partners.
Maintain comprehensive understanding of BI roadmap to drive effective prioritization and influence recommendations based on business needs.
Collaborate with delivery team(s) to facilitate timely execution of initiatives, providing support and influence where necessary to ensure successful completion of agreed-upon deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of insurance industry experience
5+ years of experience in a Relationship Manager or similar role.
5+ years of experience with business intelligence concepts and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a business consultancy environment.
Familiarity with dashboarding tools and technologies.
Experience working in an agile work environment.
Advanced experience with Excel and knowledge of SQL.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-established self-management skills, e.g., time management, prioritization, managing internal and external relationships.
Track record of continuous improvement and successfully enabling data-driven decision-making.
Results oriented with a strong drive and proven track record for getting things done.
Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing long-term and short-term goals.
