Assist in processing payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees while maintaining compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Collaborate with external tax advisors on quarterly and year-end tax compliance requirements.
Support the implementation of on-going process improvement initiatives.
Ad hoc projects: Support the Accounting Manager with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within a corporate finance team or Public Accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; SAP experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, with a collaborative attitude.
