What you'll do as a Lansa Software Engineer II:
Design, estimate, develop, document, and implement well-tested application solutions within defined timelines and budgets
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, test scripts, and user testing support
Provide technical support by diagnosing and resolving production issues using established methods
Support systems across warehousing, distribution, purchasing, inventory, sales order, and EDI
Participate in implementations, enhancements, and ongoing system improvements
Join a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule and support after-hours implementations as needed
What We're Looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of relevant application development and production support experience
Strong functional and technical experience with RPG (RPGLE, RPG400, Free-format) - required
LANSA functional and technical experience - preferred (LANSA 14.2 strongly desired)
5+ years of hands-on experience with CL400/CLLE, iSeries/AS400, SQLRPGLE, Subfiles, DDS, DSPF, and PRTF
Experience supporting distribution, procurement, warehouse operations, transportation, retail, or financial systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and PC fundamentals
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve user technology issues
Preferred extras: Chronologics administration, IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (mirroring), LANSA Designer administration
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
