This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee the IT&D Vendor Management Office, including day to day operations, prioritization, and execution.

  • Manage, coach, and develop Vendor Management teammates through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.

  • Establish and enforce vendor governance standards, tools, and processes across IT&D.

  • Own strategic vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business and IT&D objectives .

  • Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance; lead QBRs and remediation efforts.

  • Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and Third Party Risk Management.

  • Ensure vendor engagements are cost effective, compliant, and aligned with McLane standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain scalable vendor management documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, IT service management, or related disciplines.

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience with a focus on coaching and developing teams.

  • Strong expertise in vendor governance, SLAs, KPIs, contract management, and risk mitigation.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross functional stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while exercising sound judgment and discretion.

  • Experience working with IT service providers, managed services, and contractor labor models preferred.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and essential workplace communications.
