  • Support and maintain distributed systems in both local and remote locations.
  • Determine feasibility, compatibility with existing systems, and capabilities of current systems to meet the expectations of end-users.
  • Resolve application and system incident requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer-related field with a minimum 5 years of experience as a database administrator in a manufacturing or industrial environment or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database management systems (MS SQL Server 2005 and above) and reporting tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports).
  • Advanced knowledge of active directory management and server management
  • Advanced knowledge of business intelligence, web services, document management (SharePoint), and programming infrastructure (.NET Framework).
  • Advanced programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills required to communicate with employees and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze processes and develop solutions to enhance operations.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
