Position summary

reate, interpret, maintain, and validate Bills of Materials.

  • Generate drawings and designs based on conceptual input from Field Service, Engineering and Operations departments. Prepare preliminary designs and review them with appropriate departments.

  • Assume responsibility for drawing control to maintain drawings and to preserve technical data.

  • Assist in the design, development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures for manufacturing and maintenance.

  • Assist Engineering Department with design reviews.

  • Participate in product and process improvement initiatives.

  • Read schematics and interpret drawings when necessary.

  • Assist with the review and revision of external technical documents, drawings, manufacturing procedures and work instructions as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Associate's Degree in Drafting or Design technologies with a minimum of 5 years' drafting and design experience, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Advanced ability to correctly and efficiently use computer-based 3D modeling/drafting software.

  • Advanced skills with SolidWorks, CAD, and Microsoft Office. Experience with MRP systems a plus.

  • Ability to read and create technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and material specifications.

  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills required to communicate with customers and employees.
