Support New Product Launches: Oversee the review of technical support documentation for new product introductions.
Coordinate Technical Solutions: Collaborate with equipment division Engineering and QA teams to resolve technical issues and manage open items to completion.
Analyze Trends & Improve Processes: Review incident history to identify systemic issues and work with internal teams to implement improvements.
Ensure Change Management: Review and disseminate engineering change notices (ECNs) to technical support staff as required.
Develop Processes & Procedures: Assist in creating and refining processes related to product support activities.
Lead & Develop Your Team: Manage staff performance, provide coaching and training, conduct performance reviews, and support career growth in alignment with company policies.
Promote Professionalism: Represent SCD positively through effective communication and collaboration with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience with electrical or power quality-related products
At least 3 years of managerial experience, or equivalent education and experience
Technical Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of electrical power and control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Skills & Attributes:
Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Proven leadership and team development capabilities
Technology Proficiency:
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and engineering software
