Position summary

  • Oversee and coordinate creation and submittal of system documentation, including as-built documents, test results, and operation manuals.

  • Partner with customers, subcontractors, and general contractors to coordinate project requirements.

  • Ensure subcontractors' work conforms to all applicable contracts and project scope.

  • Prepare and review subcontractor and customer price quotations to maximize profit in a fair, equitable way.

  • Write subcontractor scopes of work for installation and maintenance services.

  • Coordinate delivery and installation of equipment.

  • Assist divisional project managers with testing, implementation, deviations, and commissioning activities.

  • Coordinate all required details for scheduling, closeout, and warranty/service obligations.

  • Manage safety and insurance issues on assigned projects.

  • Prepare project activity reports and conduct meetings with subcontractors/crew supervisors as directed.

  • Review requests for payment associated with projects.

  • Prepare project status reports and keep management, customers, and stakeholders informed.

  • Promote the goals and positive image of the Division through effective interactions with customers and internal departments.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred but not required, with at least 2-3 years of UPS and Cooling experience—or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

  • Product Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of uninterruptible power supply systems, battery systems, IT cooling, transmission and distribution substation equipment, battery energy storage systems, and solar inverters.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and materials; advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications, including Project.

  • Project Expertise: Intermediate understanding of project management, construction, and commissioning concepts.

  • Soft Skills: Advanced interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate across teams, vendors, and customers.
