Field Service Technician - Electrical Distribution

• Train and Educate: Deliver training to customers and contractors on the installation, operation, and maintenance of MEPPI equipment.

• Document and Report: Prepare comprehensive documentation and detailed reports regarding customer equipment issues and site visits.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with division support personnel to identify the source of problems and expedite repair, replacement, or other corrective actions.

• Provide Technical Support: Offer expert technical guidance to MEPPI customers in person or by phone, focusing on installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment.

What You Bring:

• Education: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technology field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance of circuit breakers—or equivalent education and experience.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of circuit breakers or similar products.

• Blueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

• Communication Skills: Advanced interpersonal communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers, employees, and vendors.

• Tech-Savvy: Advanced computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office products and MRP/ERP systems.
